    Born in Esquirol, just over twenty kilometres from Vic, in 1964, Francesc Casadesús studied Psychopedagogy, although he combined his time at the University of Barcelona with attending classes at the Institut del Teatre. Later, he furthered his studies at the SNDO (School for the Development of New Dance) in Amsterdam. He took his first steps in the performing arts with artists and companies such as Sèmola Teatre, Zotal, Esteve Grasset and Iago Pericot but, with a master's degree in cultural management, he soon moved into this field.     Laura Kumin trained as a dancer and teacher in the United States and is now based in Spain.  She was dance advisor to the Madrid Regional Government from 1989-1995 and head of dance programming at the Teatro Pradillo from 1997-2011.  Since 1987 she has directed the Certamen Coreográfico de Madrid (Madrid Choreographic Contest), the main platform in Spain for new contemporary dance creators.     Born in 1987 in the south of Spain, Mario grew up as a state champion athlete and camp guide leader at the National Park of Cazorla. At the age of 20 Mario began dancing in Seville. During his second year of training, he was offered a contract in New York City with Jennifer Muller. From 2010-2012 Mario lived in New York City dancing with Jennifer as well as Andrea Miller’s Gallim Dance, until shortly after he participated in a Batsheva dance workshop and was hired immediately to join the Batsheva Ensemble in Tel Aviv.     Mirna Zagar has devoted her professional career to the field of contemporary dance, dedicated to creation, production, development of artistic projects and dance infrastructure, supporting artistic careers, engaging in development of opportunities for international collaboration and those that aim to lift dance as an art form integral to society’s well-being. She has worked for over 40 years to enhance conditions, lift barriers and raise awareness for contemporary dance in Croatia and the broader region. (más…)

    Canarian percussionist born in Firgas, Francisco Navarro completed his musical studies in the Canary Islands, Barcelona, Zaragoza and Berlin with teachers of the stature of Andrej Glizewski, Lorenzo Ferrándiz, Wieland Wetzel, Grati Murcia and Jean Geoffroy. Regular collaborator in different orchestras such as the Gulbenkian Orchestra (Portugal), Euskadi Symphony Orchestra, Ciudad de Barcelona Orchestra and Catalonia National Orchestra, member of the JONDE (06/09), he has toured and given concerts in countries such as Japan, China, Germany, Scotland, France, England, Belgium with artists of the stature of Fasil Say, Maria Joao Pires, Franz Peter Zimmerman, Janin Jansen, Akiko Suwanai.
