\u201cSilenced,<\/em> Inspired by the killing of a Maltese journalist who was silenced for exposing severe corruption and fuelled by recent developments in countries like Afghanistan where women\u2019s rights are being stripped daily, \u2018Silenced\u2019 tackles the concept of fragility of freedom and how it should never be taken for granted. Silenced invites audiences to reflect on the human struggle against oppression. After experiencing the exhilaration of boundless self-expression, the protagonist finds himself silenced forcing him to battle with the personification of his suppressed voice and its desperate need to be liberated once again. Bound by the shackles of silence the audience witnesses stifled gestures and suppressed emotions with a growing sense of frustration and anger. The piece then reaches a pivotal moment of surrender, where the audience witnesses what happens when someone allows something greater than themselves to take over . In a display of raw emotion and uninhibited movement, the voice is allowed to take over allowing a feeling that transcends earthly constraints, finding liberation in the freedom of pure expression. Silenced is a journey of struggle and self-discovery, emerging as a symbol of resilience and hope, inviting audiences to embrace their own power to overcome oppression and find liberation in the beauty of expresi\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cSolo at the crossroads of the cultures with which the choreographer dialogues, borrowing from the West and the East, from the gestures of the street or from those of the classical arts. In Cercle<\/em>, the choreographer tries to push the limits of what his dance is today, to explore a new energy. A space of interior and exterior research, the Circle <\/em>is also the inspiration of a universality in its gestures, and in those of certain traditional dances. A signature solo, to affirm what his choreographic vocabulary is today and to try a new mechanism of movements. A wish to explore and compile his background, to highlight his influences and to share it, looking for a spiritual, intimate and universal way of dialogue with himself and the audience\u201d.<\/p>\n

Last Movement of Hope<\/em> is a macro-project composed of independent yet connected dance chapters. Each explores the human experience, our fears, relationships, struggles, and the hope that moves us forward. I imagine it as a book of embodied stories: each chapter is a moment of creative inquiry, an emotion, an encounter, a reflection. The second chapter, Organs<\/em>, delves into the intimacy of the body, its fragility, its strength, and the silent presence of the organs that sustain us. Invisible yet essential, they hold memory, pain, and resilience. Through movement, this chapter seeks to reveal what we carry within but often do not fully understand\u201d.<\/p>\n
