Natalia Casorati has been the Artistic Director of the Mosaico Dance Association since 1993 and of the International Festival of Contemporary Dance INTERPLAY since 2001. Since 2007 she also works with the INSIDE / OFF Project, organizing artistic residencies and projects to support the mobility of young choreographers in collaboration with different national and international partners, such as Drop / Dance Roads Open Process, winner of the Culture Europe 2007/2013 mention for cooperation projects. Since 2012, Natalia has been promoting and coordinating the Anticorpi XL – Collaboraction Award network dedicated to supporting Italian choreographers starting their careers.
Over the years, Natalia Casorati has worked as a performing arts professional in collaboration with ACCADEMIA DI BRERA – Milan, FACOLTA ‘DI ARCHITETTURA / FACULTY OF ARCHITECTURE – University of Turin, PICCOLO REGIO LABORATORIO / Teatro Regio – Turin, MUSICA90 Festival – Turin, TORINODANZA Festival (specifically supervising the New Proposals Section of IDP / Italian Dance Platform in the 2011 edition and in the Italian selection, MADE.IT, between November 2014 and January 2015).
Likewise, Natalia has collaborated in projects and artistic residencies aimed at supporting young choreographers with national and international institutions such as TanzTendez – Munich (Germany), Trois CL – Luxembourg, CDC Le Gymnase – Lille (France), Zodiak Center for New Dance – Helsinki (Finland), Center de Documentacao e Pesquisa em Danca di Rio de Janeiro – Brazil, Grand Studio – Brussels (Belgium).
Natalia has participated as a Jury in Movin’Up, Spazi per la Danza Contemporanea, GD’A del Veneto, Emilia Romagna e Puglia, Teatri del Tempo Presente in Turin. Internationally, in France for Recon (ai) ssance organized by CDC Les Pacifique and Maison de la Danse di Lyon (2011), in 2015 in the HiverÔclites competition, LES HIVERNALES Festival in Avignone and in Nederlands for Diorapthe Dance Award 2015. In October 2017 He was part of the Jury of the NID / Italian Dance Platform.
