Natalia Álvarez Simó has a degree in Art History, has obtained an Expert in cultural management and planning and an MBA in Business and Cultural Institutions from the University of Salamanca.
She focuses his work on programming around contemporary performing arts.
Artistic director of the Theaters del Canal and the Canal Dance Center (2016-2019).
From 2007 to 2016 she worked in the Technical Unit of Iberescena, a program to support Ibero-American Performing Arts. From 2010 to 2016 she worked as curator and coordinator of the Live Arts activities at the Reina Sofía National Art Center Museum. A Hundred project coordinated a resource map for contemporary dance in Europe promoted by the European Network of Dance Houses in 2016. She was part of the Leim project focused on the leadership of dance management in Europe, between 2013 and 2015.
